Premier League fans will be given inside access to training and hear from mic'd up players and coaches as part of a TV revamp for the 2025-26 season.

Mail Sport report that clubs will be asked by the Premier League to open their doors to TV crews once per season as part of the new initiative. The "Enhanced Training Session" will be filmed with at least one player, plus the manager or coach, wired up for audio.

Several other TV innovations have already been reported ahead of the new campaign, with players set to wear body cams during warm-ups and walk-outs, while interviews with players at half-time and on the bench are also set to be introduced.

Clubs will have to submit a list of five recent starters who are happy to be mic'd up for the recorded training sessions, while they can choose to film the footage themselves as long as they fulfil the league's brief.
