Wales were handed their first defeat of the UEFA Nations League on Sunday, as they were beaten 2-0 at the hands of Denmark.
Aston Villa centre back James Chester played the full 90 minutes against a full strength Danish national side, following the settlement of their internal dispute which saw them field a number of fourth-tier and futsal players in their opening fixture of the new international competition.

Ryan Giggs had a somewhat perfect start to his Wales managerial career, as his side comfortably beat the Republic of Ireland 4-1 in Cardiff on Thursday night, but were outclassed by Christian Eriksen and Denmark.
Despite the loss, Chester, who has been on the books at Villa Park since August 2016, impressed in the heart of the Welsh defence alongside youngster Chris Mepham.
Chester has made over a century of appearances for Villa in his two-year spell at the club, and was an integral part of the Championship play-off final reaching side last season.
Villa and Welsh fans alike took to Twitter to give their verdict on the 29-year-old’s performance.
