Fenerbahce director Acun Ilicali has confirmed that the Turkish side are negotiating to sign Anderson Talisca from Al-Nassr.

Talisca has been in good form at Al-Nassr since his move to the Saudi Pro League club in 2021 from Chinese side Guangzhou. The Brazilian's contract is set to run out in the summer of 2026 and while Al-Nassr are looking to extend his contract, they are aware that he may leave the club in 2026 as a free agent. As such, Al-Nassr are likely to be open to his departure in 2025.

Fenerbahce are second in the Super Lig under Jose Mourinho, three points behind Galatasaray, and they are now looking to make new signings in January to hand the Portuguese coach a better chance of challenging for the title. Fenerbahce board member Ilicali has now confirmed his side are in talks with Al-Nassr to sign Talisca.

Speaking to , Ilicali said: "We want to sign Talisca. Negotiations are ongoing with Al-Nassr. Negotiations with the player are going well. But I can't say that we have signed him yet. The numbers should meet our expectations."

The Fenerbahce target has been looking in decent form and will likely be a starter for Stefano Pioli when Al-Nassr take on Al-Ittihad on Friday, December 6.
