While the Brazilian international is yet to make his competitive debut for Liverpool, there is a real feeling that Fabinho could be the defensive midfielder the Reds have been searching for.
Still, although his best performances for Monaco came in midfield, the 24 year-old can also play as a right back, which could come in handy when Liverpool enter their brutal run of fixtures after the international break.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is improving every week, but there’s a long season ahead, and the youngster has struggled against pacey wingers a couple of times in the past, notably Marcus Rashford and Wilfried Zaha.
Lucas Moura is in sensational form for Spurs playing just off of Harry Kane, and Fabinho’s extra defensive intelligence and experience could come in handy.
So, Liverpool fans, who should start at right back against Spurs? It would be a shock to see Alexander-Arnold benched, but could Fabinho be the safer option? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
